Sales Support Specialist

This is a market development and sales support role. General responsibilities include all activities direct and indirect to that effort: lead generation and validation, customer interface to educate and prequalify as a viable solar site, as well as other tasks that provide continuity to the field sales representatives. Marketing activities include but are not limited to: entry and analysis of market data, perform tasks to ensure successful representation of the company at external events, maintain detailed records for sales and marketing reports, develop sales support documents, complete tasks with seamless integration of sales and marketing, administration, engineering, installation and operations teams. This position is located in the company’s Albany office.

 

The successful candidate will possess:

  • superb organizational skills
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • a minimum of one year experience in sales and/or customer service
  • good interpersonal skills and enjoy interacting with potential customers
  • confidence, professionalism and a positive attitude
  • ability to occasionally work outside normal office hours (i.e. weekend events, networking, etc.)
  • strong computer skills, CRM experience a plus
  • four year college degree highly preferred

 

Compensation:

  • Base plus commission and quarterly profit sharing
